New TECs for CCD and CMOS cooling

RMT Ltd introduces three new thermoelectric cooler (TEC) types of 1MC10 TEC Series for CMOS and CCD detectors active cooling. There are three new single- stage TECs available now with dimensions 12x12mm, 15x15mm and 18x18mm - required usually for cooling in CMOS and CCD image detectors applications. These TECs belongs to RMT MC10 TEC Series based on pellets (BiTe Elements inside the TEC) with 1.0x1.0mm cross-section. Each type is available in three height/performance options, which makes them flexible to integrate in various applications. The ceramics surface can be blank (without metallization), metallized or metallized and pre-tinned. Various combinations are available. Please, check TEC options available here.
The main application area for these three particular TECs is active cooling for CMOS and CCD detectors. Besides they can be used also for many other applications where quite large cold surface area is required. Please, check the parameters specified in the table or download a complete datasheet for each type with performance plots. RMT Ltd provides thermoelectric modules separately or already assembled on standard packages. The above mentioned TECs can be mounted into typical detector 28 pin package - PS28 type.
