A header for high-power laser diodes and optoelectronics applications.About the header
The material of TO-8 header is usually Kovar or CRS coated with nickel and gold for base and pins. Ferrotec-RMT offers thermoelectric sub-assemblies on TO-8 header with 6, 12 or 16 pins. Pins are available in standard cylindrical form, as well as flattened and nailhead configurations, to simplify the wire bonding process.
The header mounting surface is typically 8.0×8.0 mm2, which is enough for a wide range of TECs. Ferrotec-RMT offers different solutions with single-stage and multistage TECs.
