HHL
A package, designed for high-power laser diodes for telecommunications, industrial applications and sensing systems.HHL header is special box-like high heat load (HHL) package. This is the largest industrial standard header available. HHL headers are typical as a standard packaging solution for solid-state laser pumping in medical and industrial application areas like materials processing, medical and dental therapeutics, graphic arts and others. HHL base material can be various. It can be Kovar, CRS, CuW or CuMo coated with nickel and gold.
HHL header has usual 9 pins on one-side. HHL header surface open for mounting is typically 24.0×24.0 mm2, which is enough for a wide range of TECs with Qmax up to 100W and more. Ferrotec-RMT offers different solutions with single-stage and multistage TECs as well as complex design with two TECs are available.
